Take your company to Asia, through Singapore

SOSA is sourcing the North American companies that IMDA will meet. The window closes September 14.

If you run a U.S. enterprise software company with real traction and Asia-Pacific on your roadmap, this is a direct route in. SOSA pre-qualifies companies for IMDA, Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority, and puts their leadership face to face with the people behind the Accreditation and Spark programs.

Start with the interest form. If there's a fit, we'll get in touch to set up a short call.

What can you expect?

Selected companies get a curated path rather than an application queue, designed to turn one conversation into a real position in the Singapore market.

A direct line to IMDA

SOSA pre-qualifies you, briefs IMDA, and arranges a one-on-one meeting with their leadership team, in person wherever possible. You arrive already vetted and already understood, rather than introducing yourself cold.

A credential that opens doors

Accreditation (post-Series A) and Spark (seed) put your company through IMDA's technical, financial and commercial due diligence. Singapore's buyers treat that as assurance, which is why the admission rate sits at 2%.

Access to real buyers, fast

The programs run recurring demand platforms into 110+ government agencies and 90+ large enterprises, expedited procurement that saves 6–9 months, and cloud sandboxes that cut proof-of-concept cycles from nine months to two.

Why Singapore?

For a U.S. company, Singapore is the shortest credible path into Asia-Pacific. It's the business capital of Southeast Asia and the gateway to a region that will contribute 60% of global growth by 2030, with the legal system, IP protection and data regulation that let a U.S. enterprise vendor operate much the way it already does at home.

It's also where your buyers already are. 48% of the Asian regional headquarters of multinationals sit in Singapore, alongside the global R&D labs of leading Fortune 500 companies. One base, and the region is in range.

#1
Startup ecosystem in Asia and 4th globally, with more than 3,800 tech startups and half of Southeast Asia's unicorns.
60%
Of global growth by 2030 will come from Asia, reachable from a single regional base.
48%
Of Asian MNC headquarters are in Singapore, putting enterprise decision-makers within reach.
2nd
Globally for IP protection, with strong data regulation under the PDPA and the world's most politically stable government.

Are you ready to apply?

We're looking for companies that are market-ready and serious about Asia-Pacific. Not exploring the idea, but resourced to act on it within the next twelve months.

Applications are screened as they arrive rather than all at once at the end, so the earlier yours lands, the more room there is to position you properly before it goes to IMDA.

Start Your Application Now
Why now

Applications close on September 14. Miss it and you're not waiting a week or two for another chance. You're waiting months, while the companies that did apply are the ones sitting in front of Singapore's buyers.

Pre-qualification also takes time. Your background, customers, product, competitive landscape, team, funding and Singapore rationale all get reviewed before your name goes to IMDA, so a late application is a rushed one.

If Asia-Pacific is anywhere on your plan for next year, the cost of starting this conversation is one call. The cost of missing the deadline is a year.

The SOSA advantage: your route in

SOSA logo

SOSA is a global innovation execution partner, founded in 2014, that helps governments attract the right technology companies and helps those companies land in new markets. For the Accreditation and Spark programs, SOSA runs sourcing and engagement across North America, so the route into IMDA runs through a team that sits in both markets.

We sit on both ends of this route

Our Startup Center of Excellence is in New York, embedded with the founders, funds and corporates of the U.S. ecosystem. In Singapore we help operate Hatch, a go-to-market platform connecting global startups with regional enterprises, investors and public-sector partners. We know the bar at one end and the buyers at the other.

A proven track record

More than 45 market-entry and acceleration programs delivered, supporting over 400 startups across cybersecurity, AI, fintech, IoT and enterprise software, plus innovation centers built and operated with economic development agencies across the U.S., Asia and Latin America.

Precision, not a lottery

We don't run a public call and sort through the volume. Companies are identified through our own data and ecosystem relationships, validated against IMDA's target profile, and introduced deliberately, so the companies that reach IMDA are relevant, ready, and properly briefed.

About IMDA

IMDA logo

The Infocomm Media Development Authority is the Singapore government agency behind the Accreditation and Spark programs. Its stated mission is to drive Singapore's digital transformation by building a vibrant digital economy and an inclusive digital society.

IMDA is both a developmental agency and a regulator. It backs companies through digitalization programs and grants, oversees the telecommunications and media sectors, works to establish Singapore as a trusted data hub, and supports the adoption of emerging technology. For a company entering the market, that combination is the point: the organization that sets the rules is also the one running the programs that open doors.
